The Story
Sometimes, when I close my eyes, a scene begins to flow — like a film.
I let it play and quietly follow the images for a while.
Here and there, words drift through the scene, and I wait for the moment they begin to connect — almost like a story forming.
There isn’t much sound. But sometimes, out of nowhere, I wonder: maybe that moment sounded something like this. Or a certain smell brings a scene rushing back.
As for when this happens — not in the morning, not before bed. It tends to come in the evening, the busiest and somehow most tender part of the day. When it does, I know it’s been a good one.
The night that follows carries a quiet happiness all the way into sleep.
It turns out that closing your eyes is one of the most rewarding things you can do. Lucky, really.
An invitation to daydream.
