For me, as someone who draws, words are as fascinating as images—
their shapes and presence captivate me in the same way.
At the same time, I am encouraged and comforted by the atmosphere and strength that words carry.

This place, ROOM 40, is where I search for my own handwriting.

Finished, polished letters are beautiful,
but what I truly need is a slightly imperfect hand—
letters that allow me to quietly look inward.

They might be words that come to mind,
or characters I happened to notice that day.
Anything is fine.

On days when my heart feels unsettled,
on days when I couldn’t stay calm,
and on days when I felt a quiet happiness—

at the end of each day, I want to write the letters I love,
and gently close that day.
